Editorial update: 21 September 2026. Introductory learning material.

- Disable unneeded remote administration and services.
- Keep firmware current and plan replacement before support ends.
- Use appropriate Wi-Fi protection and tested guest separation.
- Review connected devices, configuration backups and relevant alerts.

Activity: Record the router’s owner, support status and latest configuration review without putting credentials in the record.
Reference: FTC guidance on securing business networks. Check the source and your system provider’s current instructions before implementation.
