Colabmo is seeking two technically capable Digital Signage Systems Support Contractors to support one of our clients with a distributed digital signage network. The client operates public-facing out-of-home advertising displays in high-visibility commercial and urban locations.
This is a remote position. Candidates must be based in the United States. The client company will not be publicly identified at this stage. Additional details will be shared with qualified candidates during screening.
The signage network includes many high-value locations and dense urban markets where uptime, content accuracy, and fast issue response matter. Orlando alone includes more than 100 signs, and the network includes prominent high-traffic locations, including premium signage comparable to Times Square-level visibility.
Available Roles
One Senior Digital Signage Support / Escalation Lead
This role is intended for a more experienced technical person who can support high-value signage locations, troubleshoot complex problems, and help identify issues that may affect multiple signs across the network.
Responsibilities may include:
Lead troubleshooting for critical or high-visibility signage locations
Escalate and coordinate response when problems affect multiple signs or regions
Support Sedna, TeamViewer, Apple/macOS-based players, and related signage infrastructure
Review player status, licenses, access, content deployment, and system health
Help create documentation, support procedures, outage response plans, and escalation paths
Work with Colabmo, the client, vendors, and property contacts when higher-level coordination is needed
Ideal experience:
Sedna or similar digital signage platform experience
TeamViewer or similar remote access tools
Apple/macOS support, including Mac mini or Apple-based signage players
Windows, Linux, networking, AV systems, and commercial display troubleshooting
Experience supporting distributed systems, DOOH advertising, kiosks, media players, or video walls
One Digital Signage Operations Support Contractor
This role is intended for a technically capable support person who can help with day-to-day monitoring, documentation, content scheduling support, and routine troubleshooting.
Responsibilities may include:
Monitor signage players across multiple locations
Use TeamViewer or similar tools for remote access and basic troubleshooting
Assist with Sedna playlists, schedules, calendars, content deployment, and player monitoring
Document player hardware, software versions, operating systems, locations, licenses, access procedures, and support notes
Help identify offline players, playback issues, display problems, scheduling errors, and network interruptions
Escalate complex or high-value issues to the senior support lead or Colabmo
Ideal experience:
General technical support experience
TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Remote Desktop, VNC, Apple Remote Desktop, or similar tools
Comfort with Apple/macOS, Windows, Linux, or small-format media players
Basic networking knowledge, including IP addresses, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and internet connectivity
Strong documentation habits and reliable follow-through
Willingness to learn Sedna and digital signage operations
Must Have for Both Roles
Based in the United States
Reliable communication and availability during agreed support windows
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
Comfort handling credentials, licenses, access procedures, and system documentation carefully
Willingness to follow defined support, access-control, and escalation procedures
Nice to Have
Direct experience with Sedna
Experience with TeamViewer in managed remote support environments
Experience with Apple/macOS-based signage players
Experience supporting DOOH advertising displays, AV systems, kiosks, video walls, commercial displays, or media players
Familiarity with HDMI, DisplayPort, 4K playback, resolution settings, and signal troubleshooting
Experience with content scheduling, playlist management, campaign deployment, proof-of-playback reporting, or player logs
Basic scripting, Windows administration, macOS administration, Linux administration, or Raspberry Pi experience

This position supports a Colabmo client operating a distributed network of digital advertising displays used for scheduled media content and advertising campaigns. The business depends on signage uptime, accurate content deployment, reliable remote access, licensing continuity, and clear operational control.
