Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority on electronic and mechanical components, such as semiconductors, connectors, switches, and capacitors
- Evaluate and approve new components to be used in product designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to secure the sourcing of high-quality components

Manage component databases, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate
- Work closely with design and manufacturing teams to resolve component-related issues
- Conduct failure analysis and lifecycle analysis of components
- Provide expertise in RoHS, REACH, and other environmental compliance matters
- Assist in business development and pre-sales activities as an expert in the field
- Mentor junior engineers and participate in internal training sessions
Must Have

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in component engineering

Deep understanding of electronic and mechanical component selection, qualification, and sourcing
- Familiarity with industry standards and environmental compliance requirements
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
